This is our first chance to get to know you, and vice versa. The conversation will be relatively informal but focused. We’ll delve into:
Professional Motivators: What drives you? What are you passionate about in your work? Understanding your motivations helps us ensure alignment with our company culture and the role itself.
Current or Recent Projects: We’ll discuss your current or most recent projects, giving you an opportunity to showcase your skills and experience.
Scope and Impact of Contributions and Achievements: We want to understand the impact you’ve made in your previous roles. Quantifiable achievements are always a plus!
Basic Technical and Theoretical Background: We’ll touch upon your technical foundation to gauge your understanding of core concepts.
Salary Expectations: It’s important to be upfront about salary expectations early in the process to ensure we’re on the same page.
Duration: 15 – 45 minutes
If you successfully passed the screening interview, we will schedule a product interview where we will focus on some of your recent projects, especially those that utilised a tech stack relevant to CobbleWeb. This conversation will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of your analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and how purpose-driven you are.

This is where we get down to the nitty-gritty of your technical skills. Expect a technical discussion and live coding exercises covering:
This interview is designed to evaluate your coding proficiency and your ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
Duration: three hours (Some candidates may be given the opportunity to combine their product and technical interviews into one three-hour session.)
By this stage, we’re both seriously considering whether we’re a good fit for each other. This fairly unstructured conversation – also known as the CEO interview – is as much for you as it is for us. We’ll share more details about CobbleWeb, our culture, and our vision.
This is your opportunity to ask us anything! Grill us about our processes, team structure, current projects, tech stack, or anything else that’s important to you. In return, we discuss your motivators and career vision on a deeper level. It’s a great opportunity to address gaps from previous interviews.
